Good Distribution Practices or GDPs is an audit that focuses on assessing a company’s food safety management at the distribution level. There are similarities to the GMP audit but the GDP audit is designed for distribution centers and their unique requirements. GMPs is an integral part of the HACCP program and is a necessary certification for distribution centers.
GDP audits assess companies on several requirements which include:
